Mason Jar Holiday Craft {simple}

This idea is inspired by my crafty coworker Allyson, she always has the most amazing ideas and she incorporates a little bling into all of her work!

She inspires me all the time to think outside the box. Her idea using autumn colored/patterned napkins, with the book pages, twine, with a few jeweled pieces hot glued on, translated so well into a cute “Country Glam” jar. She found the twine in the automotive section at a dollar store- pretty cool!

Mine is black and white damask printed cupcake liners and some butterfly cutouts from thicker card stock. I also spray painted the outside of the lid red. Either would be perfect for storing the Peppermint & Chocolate Mug Brownie Recipe. A simple and chic holiday gift!

All you need is a mason jar, mod podge, craft paper, book pages, napkins (they work because they are transparent) and/or cupcake liners.

You can use battery operated LED lights or a battery operated candles to light up the jars. Hence the transparent “base” paper choices so the light shines through. The thicker card stock is so they butterflies show up.

Love. Simple. Crafts.
